Peace Race Jersey

Our homage to the Peace Race, taking the blue of the race leaders jersey as the base colour and then adapting the three flags host nations of Czechoslovakia, Poland and East Germany to give a striking design. 

The design draws its influence from the Russian Constructivist design movement, which was more than just an aesthetic trend, it embraced the cataclysmic socio-political changes that occurred after the Russian Revolution,

This visual language became a touchstone of modern graphic design methods, and indeed, the many beautiful poster designs that originally publicized race would have referenced this style.

Of note also: Jens Voigt won the 1994 edition of the Peace Race in 1994!

Our retro team jerseys are handmade in our Italian factory using the very best technical fabrics. Featuring a set-in sleeve with 4cm silicone gripper cuffs, they deliver a classic fit with a consistent stretch to ensure full freedom of movement.
