ICON's pedigree in water sports such as surfski and kayaking means that they know more than anyone about exercising in a seated position in cold and wet condition and, as usual this piece is perfectly suited to cycling.
In fact, this thermal baselayer is a game changer when it comes to cycling. It is so warm, breathable and stretchy in fit, that when worn under your existing cycling jacket, it can transform it into one suitable for sub-zero conditions.
The new 'skin-fit' base layer sets unprecedented standards in warmth, flexibility, fit and comfort for riding in cold conditions. The seamless under-arm breathable 'Nilo' fabric panel provides excellent comfort when worn under other exterior layers and the stretch fit ensures it can be worn like a second skin and not compromise your comfort on the bike. The added length at the rear also ensures it can be tucked well into your bib-tights.
Tecnostretch is manufactured by Italian fabric manufacturer, Pontetorto. It is best known for its use as a layering system fabric in technical outdoor apparel.
