Mavic Cosmic Ultimate Centre Lock Disc
£1,660.00 - £3,660.00£1,799.00 - £3,999.00
With its new 23c rim, ceramic bearings and a weight of 1260g, the full carbon Cosmic Ultimate remains Mavic's best allround performing wheelset.
- R2R : The ultimate performance spokes
- Adaptive Layup : Strong where it matters, light everywhere else
- Mavic Ceramic : Premium materials, premium performance
Engineered for peak performance, R2R carbon spokes span the full rim width for optimal balance, stiffness, and power transfer across pedalling, braking, and handling. Their shape enhances both aerodynamics and vertical compliance for added comfort. Adaptive Layup technology strategically reduces rim weight, saving up to 70g per rim, without compromising strength, making climbs more responsive. Premium ceramic bearings, paired with low-density grease and ultra-slick seals, deliver smoother, faster spin and long-lasting durability.
Features & Benefits
R2R: The ultimate performance spokes
- A single full carbon spoke from one side of the rim to the other with the hub in between.
- Perfect wheel system balance, lateral stiffness, and power transfer (either pedalling, braking or handling)
- The shape also integrates aerodynamics and vertical compliance (comfort) in the equation.
Adaptive Layup: Strong where it matters, light everywhere else
- Carbon is lighter than alloy, but weight always adds up
- Using the right amount of fibres where the rim is less stressed to reduce rim weight with no compromise on reliability, this gives wheels that are livelier and more enjoyable while climbing. Up to 70g saved per rim
Mavic Ceramic: Premium materials, premium performance
- With its special properties, ceramic makes bearings spin a little faster and are more durable. Together with premium ceramic material, we use premium low-density grease paired with ultra-slick seals.
