The Maximum Smoothness cables have more strands than standard Campagnolo cablesets and the housing is a lot more flexible making them the essential option if you're running the1213x range of high end Campagnolo groupsets. These added improvements also make them the ideal cables if you're running internal cable routing on your bike with tight bends that can cause shifting problems.
