On the eve of the annual fundraising and celebration Dave Rayner Fund dinner, we are very pleased to announce that thanks to our customers buying the Rocket Espresso Milano clothing we have now donated over £18,000 to the fund!
Since February 2014, Prendas Ciclismo have worked in partnership with Rocket Espresso Milano selling a range of clothing that benefits the Dave Rayner Fund with a £10 donation for every garment sold.
The fund offers grants to young male and female riders to help allow them to live and race abroad. The Dave Rayner Fund has so far received eight payments with the total donated more than £18,000 but Prendas Ciclismo are not stopping there!
Today sees the additional announcement that they will launch two new garments that will further benefit the fund.
Faithfully produced by the original team clothing manufacturer Santini, this accurate Raleigh Banana retro jersey and the matching bib shorts are officially licensed by Raleigh UK and are made from the latest in modern fabrics.
Proprietor of Prendas Ciclismo, Mick Tarrant said “We are very pleased to return this eye-catching jersey back to the marketplace. Given the fact that Dave Rayner rode for the team, we felt it was only right that the Dave Rayner Fund received a £10 donation for every garment sold”.
“Along with sales of the existing Rocket Espresso Milano garments, we hope these two new garments will help us hit the twenty thousand pound mark during the festive sales period” Tarrant added.
Joscelin Ryan representing the Dave Rayner Fund said "What great news! The Fund is very grateful to both Prendas Ciclismo and Rocket Espresso Milano for their continued support. These funds make a very real difference to young riders allowing them to experience life abroad in their quest to become professional cyclists.”
Prendas Ciclismo would like to publicly thank both Geoff Giddings and Pippa Wibberley of Raleigh UK for their co-operation and invaluable assistance in making this project happen.

To celebrate 30 years of Prendas Ciclismo, we look back to 1996, a defining season in the history of the Tour of Flanders and Paris–Roubaix. From Michele Bartoli’s victory in Flanders to the dominant team performance by Mapei–GB in Roubaix, it was a year that captured the spirit of the cobbled Classics. This is the story of the races, the teams, and the jerseys that shaped our beginnings.
