The Levi's–Raleigh team was an American professional cycling squad that existed from 1983 to 1985, separate from the highly successful European TI–Raleigh team. The team was known for racing on Raleigh frames, which were often custom-built by other manufacturers like Marinoni.
Our retro team jerseys are handmade in our Italian factory using the very best technical fabrics. Featuring a set-in sleeve with 4cm silicone gripper cuffs, they deliver a classic fit with a consistent stretch to ensure full freedom of movement.
With an array of details – including silicone grippers, reflective detailing, three rear cargo pockets plus a 4th coin zip pocket – our jerseys are perfect for looking the part at a vintage cycling festival, or just out for an all-day ride in the sunshine.

Anonymous So I ordered the jersey for my husband, for a retro cycling event. He has an old Raleigh bike. Unfortunately, even though I ordered a size larger than his usual size, the jersey was too tight. Sadly, it is on it's way back to you. Had it fitted he would have been really pleased with it.

Sorry that you selected the wrong size. What chest measurement is your husband? Did you look at the product size chart? A size Large would be for a 38-40 Inch chest, assuming personal preference would be for a normal well fitting short sleeve jersey. Size measurements are important to check with cycling jerseys, as aside from our own variants on kit, many other brands have different cuts for a pro, race, sporting, club, relaxed fit, where a size Large on one is a very different cut and fit to a size Large in another.
Our size charts have been adjusted over the years based on using ourselves, and customer feedback, and we are satisfied they are accurate with the measurements subject to personal preferences and more extreme variances in physiology.
If you want to exchange for any other size XL in our retro styles, we would be more than happy to check stock, and send one out for your husband - we have several Raleigh styles as well.
