Sean Kelly rode for the Sem France Loire Mavic team after stints with Flandria (77-78) and Splendor (79-81) taking numerous victories at Paris-Nice, Tour de Suisse, Critérium International & Giro di Lombardia as well as his third Green jersey at the Tour de France!
Other riders of note who rode for the team were the Portuguese Champion Joaquim Agostinho, Jock Boyer and Steven Rooks.
