The Gitane-Campagnolo cycling team was a professional cycling team that competed during the 1976 season. This team was sponsored by Gitane, a French bicycle manufacturer, and Campagnolo, an Italian manufacturer of bicycle components. This is a replica of the jersey worn in 1976.
Our retro team jerseys are handmade in our Italian factory using the very best technical fabrics. Featuring a set-in sleeve with 4cm silicone gripper cuffs, they deliver a classic fit with a consistent stretch to ensure full freedom of movement.
With an array of details – including silicone grippers, reflective detailing, three rear cargo pockets plus a 4th coin zip pocket – our jerseys are perfect for looking the part at a vintage cycling festival, or just out for an all-day ride in the sunshine.

Richard Case Love the design of this jersey, definitely one of the best of the 1970s. I was also captivated by reading Geoffrey Nicholson's book The Great Bike Race about the 1976 Tour France when I was younger and still own that today. It detailed the fantastic stage win by Lucien Van Impe on Pla d'Adet in this jersey that led to his overall victory.
Ironically, I rode up Pla d'Adet myself only a few weeks ago during a trip to the Pyrenees and memories of reading the book came flooding back. The jersey fits me perfectly and is the usual exceptional quality you get from Prendas.
