Size Guide: Demarchi Heritage Jerseys
All size guides
on the Prendas website have been specifically prepared to help you get the right size garment. We do not
use generic charts from manufacturers, we measure every garment that we sell.
The superb Merino wool jerseys from DeMarchi are actually pretty generous for Italian-made garments, and as there are only 5 sizes, then size very differently to the other retro jerseys
that we sell.
The detailed size guide allows you to compare an existing garment that you own, measure it like we've done (taking all measurements from the outside, with the garment lying flat) and then compare the sizing.Chest: Lay the garment flat and measure between the lowest point of the arm seams. Front: The length at the centre, from the top of the collar to the bottom of the hem. Back: The length at the centre back, from the top of the collar to the bottom of the hem. Sleeve Length: Measure from the bottom of the collar to the end of the sleeve.
Whilst the Faema, Salvarani and to a lesser extent the Filotex will be very much recognisable to you, the 1967 Mainetti team jersey is perhaps less so. However, for us, that's part of its appeal.
We adore the bold, white embroidered lettering against the burnt red Merino wool yarn from a period of cycling's golden age when virtually every single team jersey in the professional peloton was beautifully simple.
World Champion Marino Basso was the team's top rider arguably one of the best sprinters of his generation. After retiring joined his brothers at Cicli Basso.
