Size Guide: Santini Full Zip Short Sleeve Jerseys
All size guides
on the Prendas website have been specifically prepared to help you get the right size garment. We do not
use generic charts from manufacturers, we measure every garment that we sell.
For this garment, "Harry" the mannequin (which the vast majority of our product photographs are taken on) wears a size Large
and he measures chest 39"/ 99cm, height 6`0"/ 183cm. It is worth noting that our sizing recommendations are based on a close fit, so if you want a bit of room, it is sometimes advisable to go up one size.
||Up to 32in
The detailed size guide allows you to compare an existing garment that you own, measure it like we've done (taking all measurements from the outside, with the garment lying flat) and then compare the sizing.Chest: Lay the garment flat and measure between the lowest point of the arm seams. Front: The length at the centre, from the top of the collar to the bottom of the hem. Back: The length at the centre back, from the top of the collar to the bottom of the hem. Sleeve Length: Measure from the bottom of the collar to the end of the sleeve.

Twenty years flies by when you're having fun goes the old adage. In the case of Prendas Ciclismo, it's not far off the mark. Sudden realisation that it was coming up to a couple of decades on from the 3rd bedroom, fax machine/phone and no website beginnings dawned a couple of months back. Should we put something out there or not...? We decided we would and the result is a pretty good reflection of founder Mick Tarrant's career so far.
Mick spent much of his pre-cycling years in the music biz and latterly the 2 overlapped. The houndstooth check
is a nod to the Mod Era, the checkerboard too although it's also an homage to the iconic Peugeot jersey
which was our first retro replica. The wheel depicted on the front is a Campagnolo Shamal, an early factory-built aluminium aero wheelset but this one is a "Skamal", referencing again the Mod and Two-Tone era. The wheel doubles as a record player turntable with arm and variable speed control for vinyl of every ilk, entirely appropriate considering Mick's many years as a DJ and promoter.
The ubiquitous "black" jersey is counter balanced by orange or "naranja" as our tribute to the much loved and missed fave pro team Euskadi
. Our 20 years in biz
is represented subtly and sublimely. We hope you like it and thanks for your loyal support over the years, the wheels wouldn't keep spinning without it!
