Cool and comfortable no-nonsense socks at a bargain price.

These are simple Coolmax socks for use in the spring, summer and autumn, and at £5.95 a pair – or four pairs for £20 – you won't get too upset when they eventually wear out or won't come clean anymore.

They're a consistent weave rather than a mesh but they keep your feet ultra-cool, and they virtually never get noticeably damp even if you're riding hard on a hot day. The manufacturers give them a temperature range of 6-22°C and we'd say that's about right – although cold blooded types might want something thicker when the mercury dips below about 10.
