Prendas Winter Thermolite Socks

TEST WINNER: The Prendas Winter Thermolite sock held it's own during Britain's big freeze, while still breathable enough to be used on milder days.

Review: Prendas has opted to use Thermolite fibres that are hollow and great for trapping insulating air. It's a material that provides great warmth without being bulky. So you don't need to worry about getting squished-up toes, wedging your foot into the shoe.

Designed for sub-zero riding, there is plenty of panelling in the right places and extra padding at high-impact areas helps protect the heel and forefoot from abuse and wear. Well priced but not as comfy as others.

Rating: 9 out of 10
