We are delighted with this latest prendas cotton cap, with a striking red, gold and green ribbon, Prendas colour co-ordinated logos and the usual quality that you would expect.

We've always loved the colourways of the red, gold and green on black and what better way to illustrate it than on this brand new offering from Prendas (possibly the world's leading cap authority).

Contrary to popular belief, 'Cool Runnings' has no direct connection to the sport of bobsleighing as per the film but in Jamaican patois is usually used at a time of departure on a long journey meaning have a safe trip.

Therefore "Go in peace" or "Safe journey" seems an entirely appropriate slogan for a cycling cap.

Size Chart: Cotton Caps

All of our cotton caps are made in Italy and are a "one size fits all". In reality, they fit the vast majority of people well but those above a 61cm will struggle.
It is also worth noting that although the cap itself can be machine washed (at 30 degrees), the peaks and ribbons of some caps are more delicate than others.
Therefore in Prendas` extensive experience, the longevity of cotton caps increases with careful hand washing in cold water with limited washing detergent used.
The La Vie Claire Cap in particular with it`s Tyvek ribbon is only suitable for a cold hand wash only.
