After many, many, many requests, we are pleased to have unearthed some original cotton caps from the 1980's!

The La Vie Claire team colours were based on the iconic artwork of Piet Mondrian, giving them a unique appearance in the peloton during the 80s.

And before you ask, yes - there are more La Vie Claire items coming to our range in the next 2-3 months!

The ribbon is manufactured from the durable and extremely costly "Tyvek". Hence, if we had it produced now, the cost of the cap would double! 100% authentic!

Please note: As these are original caps from the era, they fit up a little smaller than currently produced caps. We estimate they will fit up to a 59cm head circumference.

Size Chart: Cotton Caps

All of our cotton caps are made in Italy and are a "one size fits all". In reality, they fit the vast majority of people well but those above a 61cm will struggle.
It is also worth noting that although the cap itself can be machine washed (at 30 degrees), the peaks and ribbons of some caps are more delicate than others.
Therefore in Prendas` extensive experience, the longevity of cotton caps increases with careful hand washing in cold water with limited washing detergent used.
The La Vie Claire Cap in particular with it`s Tyvek ribbon is only suitable for a cold hand wash only.
