Andy's favourite colour is green, so it was inevitable that he ordered himself a set of GreenEdge Team Issue bib shorts and jersey for the summer!
Whilst riding to work one morning in that very kit, the light bulb appeared! "Wouldn't it be great if we could offer our customers Santini Team Original bib shorts but in plain black? 6 weeks later, that idea is reality!
The Santini "EDGE" bib shorts are exactly the same, in terms of seat pad, cut, silicon leg grippers, mesh braces as worn by the Orica-GreenEdge pro riders but without the logos - so will therefore hopefully match your current favourite jersey!
Whilst the Santini "MAX2" and "SLICE" remain very popular sellers for us, you might ask why should I buy a set of these?
Apart from the enhanced seat pad, these are cut longer in the leg (3cm) and also benefit from a new silicon leg gripper that is wider (4.5cm) which places less pressure on your legs.
Santini's latest seat insert is the NAT seat insert. The NAT (Next Airflow Thermoshock) is the first Santini padding from the NEXT generation which offers advanced shock absorbption, is breathable, has an elastic memory, has a cooling effect and is self massaging.

Please Note: Unfortunately, the sizing of bib shorts is not an exact science (unlike jerseys).
Whilst many of our competitors still quote waist sizes, this dimension actually has no relevance when it comes to bib short sizing. This part of the garment will stretch almost indefinitely.
Your height and weight are the two most important dimensions. The size chart below gives you an indication, but exact sizes may vary depending on individual body shapes.
