6/12, Dear all at Prendas, It's 15 years since I took up cycling, and in that time I've purchased many items of cycle clothing, ranging from a few ££s to lots of £££££s. Until recently, one item stood out for its quite exceptional benefit/cost ratio: a de marchi windproof gilet which cost me £15 about 12 years ago and which I still use almost daily in the winter. But now there's another: the Prendas waterproof cap! What a fantastic piece of kit for a mere £7.50! Fortunately, I took delivery of mine just before the recent cold snap hit us, and now I won't leave home without it. Not only does it keep your head warm and dry, but the peak deflects the cold air away from your eyes and forehead, which is great when you're cycling into the teeth of a sub-zero gale ie. every day recently.
