Ideas often happen here at Prendas when we least expect it, so when Mick arrived at work in his 2005 Felice Gimondi Gran Fondo Jersey, the light blub moment appeared!

After "Chrissie-Boy" had recently put in a few hours re-rendering our outside wall, the plain yet perfect surface was crying out for a bit of attention. So step forward Lisa Berkshire, who just happens to ride an MTB too.

We gave Lisa the above image, along with a few suggestions, and after the lengthy contract was signed (joke) she commenced on adding the peloton to our magnolia wall.

So, now every day, when we ride into work, we get to look at our own piece of custom art work to put a smile to our face.

A bit about Lisa....

Lisa graduated from Norwich School of Art in 1989 and since that time has been working as a Freelance Illustrator producing work for publishers, designers and private clients including The Met Office, Sainsbury's, Fortnum and Mason, Oxford University Press and the BBC.

She also paints murals in public areas, for businesses and private clients. Examples are a mural in the visitor's information centre at Steamer Point Nature Reserve Highcliffe, a mural in a stairwell at Broadstone First School, a series of interior and exterior murals in a community arts centre in Boscombe and painting a real Mini in Psychedelic designs for Christchurch Borough Council as well as many murals in children's bedrooms and playrooms.

She also exhibits her painting work and takes part in occasional art and craft shows with her illustrated wooden hangings, greetings cards and felt creations.
