I arrived in Germany and was picked up at the airport by Anke who assured me not to worry about anything and that it was going to be a fun day........

I'd never had my photos taken properly before and I was really excited to be pampered for the day, have my hair and makeup done and do something very different to my "normal day" of training.

I did indeed have nothing to be worried about...... Apart from taking half my clothes off and standing half naked with various bike parts strapped to me I soon was made to feel very comfortable.

I arrived at a warehouse and inside I met Daniel (Geiger) the photographer, he was great, and whilst he set up the scene for my photoshoot I sat down to be totally looked after.

Start of the shoot....

An hour later after plenty of makeup, fake eyelashes, hairspray, straightners and baby oil.... it was time to get my outfit on. PVC, bike parts, high heels an not forgetting some great jewellery made from various shimano groupsets were on offer. I changed into a sexy little number and went to have my photos taken.

The first 15 minutes I had never learned so much about what angles to look and move in ... I felt stupid at first but before long I really got into it and was having a great time!!

All angles covered....

Daniel took a lot of photos and after about 5 hours we were done. Whilst I was getting changed back into my normal clothes Daniel downloaded the photos which gave us the chance to have a good look at what i had been doing.

The team - after the shoot....

I was really pleased with the final outcome and could not wait to see the calender once finished, along with all the other girls that had their photos taken too.

I'm made up with the final outcome of the calender. It's a great way to see us female cyclists in a different light as well as being professional atheltes, we do have a glamorous side to us, and I feel the cyclepassion calender is a great way to have shown that!

Enjoy!
